It appears Linkin Park will be releasing the title track 'One More Light' as a single going by a listing that has appeared on a website that is known for showing upcoming singles and tracks impacting radio. AllAccess.com has been used many times in the past to show when a new track from the band will be a single and 'One More Light' has been listed for an October 3rd release. The song 'One More Light' first gained traction after the band performed the song live on Jimmy Kimmel Live following the death of Chris Cornell back on May 18th 2017. The song has always held a special emotional connection and now we feel that more than ever following the death of Chester Bennington in July. That's pretty much how it works these days. This just means it will be an "official" single with the label pushing it so expect to hear it more often in the coming weeks.
So they scrapped 'Talking to Myself' then?, i think WB would give this title track the most attention in promoting and pushing this to radio stations to remember Chester and to finally give closure to this era before proceeding to the new era. I just hope we'll get a 'One More Light - EP' with some unreleased tracks from OML sessions with Chester's vocals.
Love the idea of OML being the next single. I hope we'll be getting a beautiful tribute video to go with it.

I can picture OML being played by a lot of Hot AC stations. Those are the ones you hear Michael Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, and Journey on. I don't know if my eyes will stay dry hearing the track on the radio.
I guess it was inevitable for OML to be the final single after Chester's death. Sorry For Now was probably robbed of the single status it deserved. It's crazy how important the One More Light song has become, it almost seems prophetic in hindsight.
I'm not looking forward to watching OML video as it will probably be made And Mike's big announcement is probably about the memorial, can't think of anything else.

I wonder if OML will have the music video being full of tributes by the fans. Or, maybe it'll be full of mashups of videos of Chester. -shrugs- Either way, I cannot wait. I'm definitely going to tear up though.
