Well this came totally out of nowhere! I'd imagine there will be a mix of new and previously-released remixes on here. Probably no more than one per song, which rules out several LT REMIXED tracks, and what's left isn't nearly enough to fill an album.
July 2002: Reanimation March 2003: Meteora And they made both while on tour... So I don't think they'll release it in 2015. Unless they want to take their sweet time with the sixth album.
What makes me happy is the amount of music the band is involved in. A Light that never comes Recharged The Mall LPU 13 Side projects like High Rise LP 6 It's no longer just about making albums and touring for promotion. It never was but this just takes it to a whole new level. I hope the band does a lot more and grow much more.
but 2015 is too long...... that's too much time with no Linkin Park in my life :'( I could live with mid-late 2014, but 2015....
When I read the title, I was worried that LP may be stuck on this album a tad too long. However, after thinking about it, this is the best Linkin Park related news I've read in months. I'm pretty stoked about that box set / deluxe edition on page two of the thread. Plus, we'll probably get another song with Aoki to go along with one by DJ Fresh and hopefully a Shinoda or Hahn remix. While I don't think this album will be comparable to Reanimation in terms of the sound, it still has the potential to bring hype around the band. Who knows, maybe there's a gem that turns into a club hit? I hope this album lives up to the hype! *SPOILER* This album will be "trendy EDM" if I were to guess.
