That seems possible, yes. There may well be some truth to this. In other news, I'm still not really sure why people in this thread, who are not actually going to be at this show and are in no way forced to attend, can suggest that this is absolutely the worst thing the band could do. They're playing a one-off show (or, possibly, small limited edition run of shows) playing their hugely popular debut album in its entirety. Nothing more.
Typical overreaction from the LP fanbase. Other bands do stuff like this all the time. I'm surprised it took LP this long to get around to it.
Taproot just did an entire Gift tour. Machine Head played Burn My Eyes all the way through recently. It isn't uncommon, however, it is special.
This is amazing! They probably should have done this for HT's 10 years. Still, better late than never. Hoping for a DVD or something for this. ATS will probably never get played completely. It's too slow and you can't do that for shows. Minutes to Midnight won't either. Meteora and LT have chances.
Chester better belt out a 10-second "COME ONNNNNNNNNN!!!" scream to open up "With You". Failure to do so will easily mark my biggest disappointment of what will otherwise be an awesome set list.
Chester just confirmed that this was true in an interview. Also Andy confirmed this is a Download exclusive show.
Pretty convenient that the band were apparently kicking around the idea and, then, got approached by Download promoters with that exact same idea
That would be SICK if that is what was definitely released...i would buy it that's for sure that's if it was released to ALL regions not just one specific like ATS+ or The Tour Edition of LT was I mean LP has been my MAIN favorite band for 10+ years now & I own everything they've released from HT to RECHARGED & will always be a fan..
He hasn't been doing that since the song was re-introduced to the band's live set last year. Don't get your hopes up. Also, if they're going to go the nitpicky "play the album cover-to-cover exactly as recorded" route that some bands do when they do stuff like this, it's not on the album version. Trivia: Crawling and With You (the two songs on Hybrid Theory that Chester identifies as the most difficult to sing) have not been featured in a live set together since 2006. This show may be a bit rougher on Chester's voice than usual...hopefully they don't decide to play Given Up as one of the non-HT songs in the set!
They need to put In Your Face Medley (Given Up/QWERTY/No More Sorrow/Blackout/VICTIMIZED).. that would be fun..
