Linkin Park are set to make a special appearance at the 2005 Billboard Awards this coming Tuesday, December the 6th. We're unsure whether they're just attending, presenting an award, or something more, so tune in to FOX on Tuesday at 8:00PM ET for the awards. Linkin Park have won numerous awards at the annual Billboard Awards over the last few years but this year they are not nominated for anything. Source: Billboard.com Thanks to Justin!
i wonder why they are lanning on going if there are no awards to be picked up - i mean its kinda pointless if your not nominated. like you said they could be presenting or even performing
hmm i dunno if they'll perform.. usually they get new artists to perform at shows... LP hasnt done much in 2005
*crosses fingers* perform, perfom, perform, perform, perform...i doubt it...*sigh*..oh well...ten bux says they either just attend or present an award...most likely they'll present an award....but hey, that's just me
DAMMIT! DAMMIT! i was looking away from the screen when they said it, but they have been showing billboard commercials on madtv tonight and this one finally said smething about Linkin Park, but i don't know what they said, i could have sworn they said performing, but i did not see it all, all i heard was Linkin Park and turned back to the tv AAAAAAAAAAH!
Rumor has it that they're performing but I wouldn't go by this. I doubt they'd perform a really old song though and no new songs are currentely on the radio so this is probably false. Definetely something to tivo later on tonight though either way (since it is now the 6th).
Tivo.... i'm goin old school on this and gonna set my VCR! ohh yeah! lol.... shit, i didn't realize it was the 6th already! thanks!!!
Well on this homepage http://www.fox.com/billboard2005/performers/ it dosn't say anything about Linkin Park.
Looks like they're not preforming. They, Rob Brad and Mike I believe, presented the award for best rap track, which I believe was the first award presented. I'm not entirely sure though. I had the t.v. on mute and just happened to look at the t.v. and saw Mike walking on the stage. The closest thing to them preforming was a short sample of Numb/Encore as they came up to the podeum. The night's still young though, although, if they were to preform wouldn't they be in the preforming list and not the guest star list?
That was crap. And there were only 3 members of the band on stage, that is NOT Linkin Park as they announced. They should have announced it as "3 Members of Linkin Park" or "Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon of Linkin Park". That would've been more professional.
