ALREADY HYPED FOR WE THOUGHT WE HAD IT ALL!

    I already see the headlines:

"Mike's immaculate wordplay on Narwhal Party On The Bacon Boat's lead single, We Thought We Had It All solidifies his place as a modern rap god."

Fucking hilarious! I've already pirated that beast! But I digress, I already have a strong feeling there's a great potential in this form of the writing process. I called it with Ats and now I'm going to eagerly and overly optimistically say, this is going to kick some fucking ass! I know I'm way ahead of myself but that's just the universe telling me so.

So, if they are thinking in the lyrics first, there will be no instrumental songs in this album?

You never know. An instrumental track could develop at any point during the process.

I'm calling it now, folks: The go-to buzzword for LP7 will be insane.

Anyway, this news has me very excited for the future possibilities of LP. Unlike many on this site, I haven't really had any major issues with LP's lyrics as a whole during their past two albums. Sure, some lines come off as awkward and don't fit well into the "story" the songs are telling, but this is something I've noticed only during a few instances. I actually enjoy the relative simplicity of THP's lyrics for the most part, as they tended to fit the vibe and feel of the songs without being too wordy IMO.

It's pretty clear to me that THP was much more about the musicianship and aggression, as LT was more about being fast-paced and energetic. Now, LP7 is seemingly going to be about the lyrics and how powerful of emotions they can convey to the listener. I would even go as far to say that LP have been consistently good with lyrics, even great on certain ballads and the more experimental songs.

"melodies", "melodies", "melodies", focusing on the words / vocal and a collaboration with The Bonfires. Sounds like it's gonna be another indie pop album for the hipsters. lame.

I'll take that over "Meteora" any day of the week. Pros and cons aren't even close for me.

All Albums of them are melodic, it's their trademark. What's the problem about focusing on lyrics?

It means they'll devote less ~creative energy~ to the GUITARZ and NUMETALZ
