As excited as I'd be for a new single, would LP really release it out of nowhere with little to no marketing behind it? Have they ever done that before?

 

It's been a trend in music, a way to be #CuttingEdge: Beyonce, Jay-Z and Kanye did it with their latest albums.

 

Maybe it was going to be a surprise, even though I really doubt that. If it was, surprise ruined.

Then again, it still would be a surprise...

 

It'll be a surprise when the music truly is #CuttingEdge

I could definitely imagine them doing smth like that, now after that 20sec snippet.

But it sounds more like metal than rock, so... Let's just wait

Does anyone else think they might call the album Carnivores? You know, because of the tour name and the thing mike said about the Japanese girl's comment and how rock music has become 'herbivorous'

 

I think it's way more likely to be called The Hunting Party, fits with the theme and well, it's been shown already lol.

 

Dang. I thought we were going to get an album announcement by the end of the "action-packed" week.

 

I think they need to cut back on the electronic and synthesizer stuff, as that is what really dragged down living things for me. I think they need more rapping and some heavier guitars, but not full-blown Hybrid Theory sounding stuff.
