One time we had this presentation at our school about drunk driving and it was on these 3 giant projection screens, and Somewhere I Belong was the intro to the whole thing. It was awesome
MTV uses a lot of Linkin Park guitar riffs during there shows. For example, at the 2003 VMAs they used "Somewhere I Belong" during the cut to commercials and in "Making The Band 2" they had Crawling. The also used Faint a lot during the MADE episode where the girl wanted to become a football player.
I remember in S.W.A.T. there was Figure.09 playing after the guy kills his uncle and you see the Ladies in the Limo. Figure.09 isnt on the soundtrack so this is a sighting.
We made a news post a long time ago about MTV using clips from 'Meteora' while annoucning the nominees during the MTV 2003 Movie Awards.
This is kinda old, but it wasn't on here. . . They used "Session" during the Pre-Game Show before the Super Bowl. I've also heard it during different football games.
oh i just rememberd! i was watching dateline on friday night(dont ask why) and there was a story about two men who were killed in a car crash and while they were showing clips of the road at the begining they were playing the piano part from cure for the itch. i dont remember what dateline this was but it was a story right after the kurt cobain theories :wth:
i work at a theator, and in the past week, i have seen two people that went to shrek [not together, seperate days] with LP shirts on, so naturally i talked about going to PR this summer
Yeah, that's just like the dude I saw at a theatre. He commented on my LP trucker hat. Try to keep these to TV

On Cribs once, "Dee Snider" of "Twisted Sister" started singing One Step Closer, atleast i think it was him :wth:
somebody did a presentation at my high school about nuclear war, and he showed film clips of nukes going off, and Numb was the background music. I thought it fit pretty well. and Faint is mixed with a couple other songs by other bands on Fuse when they advertise the show 4Play, but I think everyone knew that.
That reminds me when I heard In The End during lunch. They played the song because my old High school had usually selected random days to play music.
