No... They both ROCK! and Rick is amazing. He doies great work in every genre. I still think his best work is production on Jay Z's 99 problems
Mike has basically been the band's producer for the last two albums. Rick Rubin is more of an executive producer.
Mike probably does the majority of the producing while Rick Rubin comes in now and then to add a fresh perspective. And that is probably why they like him a lot and keep working with him.
My opinion is no, I don't think so. Don twice, Rick twice, someone else has to jump on the band's wagon to continue the trend! I voted No.
ZoeLinkinGal is actually Valve in disguise. Context: Half-Life 1, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Portal, Portal 2, DotA 2. In layman's terms, they both can't count to 3.
I don't count ATS as 2 because Linkin Park said it was a continuation of the goodness leftover from MTM thus, in my eyes, it is still twice.
Well in that case, I don't count Meteora as 2 because it's a continuation of the exact same crap from Hybrid Theory. Thus, in my eyes, they only worked with Don Gilmore once. Or conversely, Linkin Park has stated they no longer STOP writing and are always coming up with new material, making Living Things still a part of #1. YOU'RE STUCK WITH RICK RUBIN FOR GOOD AND YOUR WHOLE 2 THEORY FALLS ON ITS FACE.
I am just ranking on what was mentioned by the guys. Meteora is the same as Hybrid Theory? I feel that Meteora has more of catchy melodies while Hybrid Theory had more of the hard beat goodness.
I am ranking on what was mentioned by the guys. MTM is the same as A Thousand Suns? I feel that MTM has more of catchy melodies while A Thousand Suns had more of the hard beat goodness.
