And they're singing about "light"...hmmmm......unfortunately Mike already said that the song One More Light will be completely stripped down. lol wouldn't that be something. Or, they release an album in the coming week named "One Light", and then they release "One More Light" in May?
I feel the same way, I don't care about the shirt, the vinyl or the pins, I just want the CD and artbook I thought about this too, because The Hunting Party had the lyrics in the separate artbook as "deluxe edition", something I didn't understand quite well. We were used to other things for a deluxe edition (bonus DVDs most importantly) and now they're taking out what used to be normal to make it "special". I've searched Amazon and I don't see they're selling a physical CD and it worries me. Only digital tracks. --------- This is the first time I may actually just have a simple standard CD for my LP collection, I always looked for a "special edition" first and then bought a regular afterwards. I have every LP album twice except for THP which I only have the 'deluxe version'. The bundles have been watered down since Living Things.. LT+ tried to save the day afterwards with the different cover and Admiralspalast show but it wasn't quite good enough.
Can someone recall all the demos for LP7? I'm just curious what happened to the other demos like 'Can We Go Back", "Can We Go Back II/ The Future". I'm excited when I saw those because this is so new for the band just like ATS. I don't why what these were scrapped. and also, Where's District 108? a demo with Connor Youngblood?
I think that Linkin Park should release the album sooner than 19th May or they should give us everything in small portions. We got almost everything (tracklist, album name, etc.) on Thursday this week and now there is nothing to wait for. They killed the hype for "One More Light" for me. I understand that before the album release they will give us a few more songs, but I think it's even worse. I know I don't have to listen to them... But the album is already done so I can't understand why they can't release new album in March or April. We could then listen to the entire album in its entirety without previous singles. If already all is done, I see no point in attempting to hold the premiere for so long. Three months is too much, in my opinion.
We haven't heard the album yet. For all we know, they might've all made the cut. If not, the band would've liked other ideas more
same, I am gonna get just the standard CD for the first time. This is kinda sad and it's $150 US which makes it way too expensive for me since I don't live there and its $212 in terms of my country's currency D:
Yeah I highly doubt that its all just a coincidence. And that's good bc I dig the sound of that song (and Mike singing ). Hopefully that'll be released as a promotional single so we can hear it early!
