It seems like disguised DRM like a unique key to unlock stuff, it's a bit crap ! (I guess no access to real file + you have to download it)
By listening to these demos, it's clear that Living Things could have been a completely different sounding album. Hemispheres comes across really 30STMish.
I'm not used to how this Underground thing works because I only started to really get into Linkin Park this year, so sorry if I sound like an idiot. Do you download the album after you get the digital subscription (or the other ones)? Or would have to to upgrade to the CD subscription and wait till it's delivered?
I'm gonna admit, I like the demos but I was hoping these had more lyrics. The majority of these demos do not.
I was just amazed that the band released so many demos of the most recent album. They've never done this before.
Songs like Cumulus and Halo really make me wonder how the band ever thought they had no place on Meteora...
In the past.. 3 years I loved LPU much more than the actual albums. Maybe because it sounds like the old linkin park, or maybe simply because it is (musically) better... we have so many electro/etc. themed music right now.. maybe it is time to go back... back to the roots...
Universe could have been a really nice Fort Minor track. I wonder if Carry Me Away originated from this track, it's quite similar.
I would also like to know the difference especially between the time it takes for it to be shipped to the UK? EDIT: And can someone please tell me how to get the digital download after an order because I've not had a redeemable code yet?
What's interesting is when you listen to Halo and Cumulus it suggests that Meteora originally was going to sound a LOT different. It's practically a totally different album.
DAT TRACKLIST Man, I was rooting for Grecian too. The tracklist looks sick, but I wanted more ATS demos. I've always wondered what Sakura sounds like
Fromt the sounds of it, Meteora and Living Things were both once going to be very different sounding albums. Living Things was probably full of demos that were the opposite of the result: peaceful, serene and happy. Holding Company definitely had huge potential just like Primo did
What's interesting is the fact that a lot of LT demos were on here. I think this means the band is honestly going in a new direction. Which is exciting.
It annoys me the band went down the avenue of replicating HT with Meteora. Some of the Meteora demos are better than anything off the actual albums. I like the two tracks by the competition winners as well.
Well the SIB demo is dissapointing, but anything else is good. The Meteora demo is better then the whole album alltogether, Holding Company beats LITE in half. Damn, Meteora and LT why? WHY?
