I loved three band terror and Brad's vocals on UIB. But I don't think Brad should do more vocals because he's never going to sing that live. But then, with the probabilities of them playing new songs live, that doesn't matter I suppose.

Honestly from what has been said about how far away LP7 is, I wouldn't be surprised if this collaboration is for a different project.

I'm all for an acoustic masterpiece, but an entire album's worth might get incredibly weary. I'd be more interested in the idea of an epic song beginning acoustic and by the end being a rip-roaring rock track. That said, I do feel like if there was any band in the world that could potentially make screaming work in an acoustic song, it would be Linkin Park. In Pieces, although far from acoustic, is a severely stripped down Linkin Park track that features Chester on the edge in some parts of his vocal delivery.

I've always thought that they should expand on the folk style songs from LT.

I think people need to stop reading into this too darn much. Remember when you all lost your shit because there was gonna be a Tom Morello collab? Remember how that went? Yeah.

Yeah, that truly went to shit. The band only managed to craft their best instrumental song yet with Tom.

Sure, it wasnt what you expect by a collab with Morrelo. Didnt change tat it was a pretty cool jamming track.

Be fair, having to qualify that with Instrumental leaves you with an incredibly small pool to choose from. All I remember on this board at the time was severe dissapointment from everyone at that one. I'll admit it was interesting, and personally I loved it because it was of a Thousand Suns vein and I cannot stand the cringefest of THP - but the point is a lot of people were dissapointed at what that collab could have amounted to had they taken a different approach.

True, how could I possibly forget? Though I was kinda hoping for something with a little more bite.

My favourite track on the album.

I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think there's a problem reading into things deeply as long as it's understood that you're not taking any conclusions reached as fact, and as long as you don't get your hopes up. I understand that the band, a few months from now, could easily announce that the new album is going to sound nothing like what we're expecting, and I'm ok with that, but in the meantime, I can dream. :D

Besides, what else are we going to do for the new few months until we get a single?

I was thinking and we have to be thankful that we have new albums every 2 years. In comparision of the 2 years and a half wait between Hybrid Theory and Meteora and the 3 years wait between Minutes To Midnight and A Thousand Suns... not to mention the wait between Meteora and Minutes to Midnight.
