Definitely fake, this has been around for weeks Dimitris admitted to have faked it: http://www.lpassociation.com/forum/...e-to-feature-stormzy-and-pusha-t.42925/page-6 He also faked Good Goodbye of which many people thought it was legit. Both songs were first posted in that thread. Also check out his "Let Down" cover on the next page, he's doesn't only sound like but also look like Chester
I love it when LP does this on their albums. Does anyone know for sure when they started adding gang vocals to their songs? I think I remember them using this on Minutes to Midnight.
Not sure when, but I do know that one of the first really noticeable and prominent examples was The Catalyst. Not sure if they used them before that though.
Unless it's confirmed that the whole band didn't contribute to this, I believe the gang vocals made their first appearance on Minutes to Midnight during Hands Held High ("Amen").
I always thought the "youuuuuu" in the background of With You sounded unlike Mike or Chester, idk if it's quite gang vocals though.
There are definitely gang vocals with the whole band on Hands Held High. I remember Mike talking about it in the Webster Hall show version of the making of.
Yeah, for me those background vocals sounds like gang vocals too. I'm not sure though if that's true.
Linkin Park rehearsed Good Goodbye today for their upcoming shows and they streamed it via FB live. Mike performed a new rap for the second verse:
The Hybrid Theory booklet lists Brad, Rob and Joe as the ones doing backing vocals. I believe they did gang vox on closing 'And open up my mind' line from Runaway and in the intro of Pushing Me Away. 'Cause obviously there're only two songs on HT that can have gang vox in the mix. Or it's just me.
