Can Linkin Park just get faded af and start making songs about pussy and drugs like The Weeknd already.
And more importantly, why is sounding like Bieber considered a bad thing now? Has nobody heard his latest stuff? It's actually rather decent. He hasn't sounded like 'Baby' era Bieber for at least half a decade.
They're just jealous that he's making really great pop music lately. But still, Bieber's comeback was really impressive. I'd go for this to be honest.
Comparisons to Bieber's music isn't even an insult anymore, "Purpose" was damn catchy. And "Heavy" will be catchy too if anything, it just assures replay value. This is where the fanbase becomes split, but I love pop rock LP. If they can incorporate that and whatever else up their sleeve with meaningful lyrics that has substance and is not "I'm a five-star general infantry controller", then I can't ask for more.
Hey now, All For Nothing is a solid rock-anthem style song. Guest vocals from Paige Hamilton was very unexpected, especially for those of us who did not listen to the hard rock bands of the '90s. It's always a highlight for me when listening to THP, though I can understand why it may not appeal to those who even like "rock" music in general. It does have a fairly dirty, unpolished sound, which is precisely why I really enjoy it. I'm calling it now, once LP7 releases, as well as future songs/albums, more people will look back on THP and actually appreciate it more, especially within the context it was created. Its very existence challenged pop music conventions and norms in ways which were surprising, unexpected, and of course "polarized" the fanbase, much like ATS.
