Back to roots album? It's been 14 years since Meteora and people are still expecting a nu-metal album? You do realize that this sound isn't really that different from what the band has given out before, right? This sounds like a mix of Robot Boy and Castle of Glass. Lets not forget, this is still not the final version of the song.
Is it just me, or this is not very far from the LT sound? (and I really like LT, I just don't want the band to repeat themselves)
Wow!!! This is really what I was hoping for...it fits perfect into "today mood"...i don't know why but it reminds me of the weekend's starboy It's this "dark mood"-thing... I hope they did these recording of the writting process for every song und will put it on the album as a DVD. This would be thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis great
Sounds like an early version of the track. Honestly it felt a little underwhelming until the drums kicked in. The intro almost reminds me a bit of Welcome. I hope the song builds up to something with a bit more going on instrumentally. But still very excited! I like the overall sound and the tone of the track.
Mmh I dig that. Now that we've already heard 5 of 8 clips, I really believe we'll have Heavy next Friday. We'll probably get one clip Monday, then Wednesday, and the final one on Thursday. The single will drop Friday, along with an information dump talking preorder details, and a release date for March 17th.
To be fair, the band pretty much touched all the main genres with the last 3-4 albums. So, expecting something radically different would be impossible. I think what's gonna really differentiate this album from previous would be the vocals.
Was Chester in the room or did the vocals ("Like my mind right now?") play from the setup? It sounded incredibly feeble tbh.
You're following the wrong band then. There is no hope for them to regress back to a sound like that, The Hunting Party was the closest that you're gonna get to that.
Man, that beat is LIT AF FAM. But seriously, i'm really reminded of Universe. I would definitely be ok with a more refined/poppy/RnB version of ATS.
Actually, I didn't like it, but it's just me and my problems, ha) I think there will be more on this album, which I will really dig, but this single is just not mine, like Burn it Down was.
2014 - The Hunting Party is probably the closest you'll ever get to that sound again. It's from the setup. Again, this is not the finished product. Even the music, I wouldn't be surprised if it has changed quite a bit for the final release.
