I'm getting more and more convinced of an indie pop/rnb direction. The artists they've been collaborating with, the little glimpse into "heavy", and now this sneaky "maybe possibly somehow could be the poppiest thing". Linkin Park has always been a "rock" band. Them releasing a record not related to rock in any shape or form, would fit that "Expect the unexpected". If that's the case, I really hope it comes from an artistically honest place, and not with the dumb goal of charting higher/being "big" again after ATS/THP.
