It's a grower. After I got over the fact that Chester's not singing the lead part of the chorus, I was actually able to enjoy it for what it was. It's actually pretty badass. I really want to hear a high quality version though. This isn't potato...but it's just slightly better.
Even though one of the fucking Admins here was allowed to post the entire "Final Masquerade" song in the other thread.
Did you actually listen to the link before you made this post? I advise you...go back and listen to what Todd posted. Then come back in here.
Sounds like something rise against would make (guitar wise). With some hiphop. And Paige is singing and not screaming like he did on P.O.D. 's track and norma jean's track which is cool. The whole song is great. I like it a lot
What is wrong with all you guys? I feel like I am the only one holding out to this and Final Masquerade. Just don't want to spoil the fun while listening to the entire album.
Wow, this might be the only one that I immediately liked right away. More of Mike's "tough guy" rapping, which is fun I guess, but it's starting to feel tired. The real highlight was Paige, he was awesome! It's like a 90s punk rock track, it should be fun live. @Derek Could you tell, are all of Mike's raps in this album like AFN and Wastelands? As in, that "bad-ass" attitude? Only reason I ask is because I'd like a change of pace, it's starting to feel a bit tired. I'd like Mike to rap in a more laid back pace, but I suppose that type of rapping fits the style of the album.
Listened just once,I don't even remember how the song sounds like I'll probably need a few more hear, but I'll wait the album for that.
I think that the reason that I underestimated this song was the reason that it became one of the best so far on the Album. AFN - 9/10 GATS - 8/10 Wastelands - 8.5/10 UIG - 6/10 Rebellion - 10/10 Final Masquerade - 10/10
ALITS' raps are a little bit different, but for the most part its the tough guy style rap the entire album (when Mike does appear to rap).
I'm going to sit out on this one, guys. We already have half of the songs with words, and I'm happy with them. If I hear All For Nothing now, I'll only have four songs with words. So no. I'm not.
Well so far I've liked every track, especially FM because it reminds me of MTM! So put the kettle on good sir!
So it might be the audio quality, but that was the most underwhelming thing I've heard in a long time. Page's voice fits nicely though.
