I always thought that Limp Bizkit could've been a really cool band if Fred Durst had been a mute.

Awesome band, they know the music they make is dumb, but its damn good to listen to, and Wes is a brilliant guitarist

    Boo!

I wanted another Black Light Burns album. Bizkit sucks post-Significant Other.

Was actually pumping Significant Other last night. Good Listen.
But yeah, the next two albums after that are pretty questionable. I quite liked The Unquestionable Truth though. Hope the new album is good.

Results May Vary was a pretty awful album, but I love Down Another Day. A lot.

It has some okay stuff: Down Another Day being one of them and the B-side Let it Go being another. Don't like Chocalate Starfish... at all though; besides Boiler.

While I enjoy some of Limp Bizkits stuff and and am mildly interested in hearing the new album...This would please me a lot more.

Fred just announced the first leak off of the album on his Twitter. http://www.limpbizkit.com/splash/

Looks like you can listen to a full track from the new album called "Why Try".

The music sounds alot like TUTP1. Can't believe they haven't changed with their lyrics but I still love it

Well that's certainly Limp Bizkit.

It's okay actually...I guess with a band like Limp Bizkit you can't really expect them to mature their sound.

With all due respect, did you expect Limp Bizkit to become prolific and full of meaning?. I'll admit I listened to these guys as heavily as anyone else back in the day, but Fred was never exactly a pro lyricist. :p

To be honest, Fred can actually write good songs  "The One", "It'll Be Ok", "Hold On", "Build A Bridge", "Drown".

Agreed. When he really digs deep and gets retrospective his lyrics aren't that bad.

Maybe they don't want to run with the crowd with the floppy fringes, skin tight pants and emo lyrics, some people in the world enjoy standing out from the crowd...

Guitars are super on that track

if you'd been paying attention that shit's going out of style as well. The nu-metal crowd's fashion was hardly better than emos/scene kids anyway, and if standing out from the crowd means sounding/looking like ten years ago, i'd rather not.

But yeah, Wes is still doing some nice shit.

How is emo shit going out of fashion exactly? Its all thats on Kerrang and tv right now, fucking youme@six and elliot minor type crap, hell even Linkin Park changed to suit the kids

So your saying Greenday is better, because Billie Joe changed to dress like a teenager and to fit in? Or the Greenday of 10 years ago?

LB is just trying to keep the sound they had years ago, and along with it they look the same, if a little older, hardly a crime to keep the same sound, Metallica sound the same, as do Guns n Roses, the only difference being line-up changes have lessened the quality....

Excuse me for not "paying attention" to trends and whats fashionable, i prefer to employ my own choices and likes/dislikes
