Mike's singing is really good in "In Between"! This song is sooooooo nice! But I don't really like "Hands Held High"..
Leave Out All The Rest. And my favorite song off the whole album is Hands Held High. Best song they've ever written.
Back when MTM came out I used to like Bleed It Out. Now you could consider it the worst on the album for me.
In Between. Just a little too dull with no real peaks. In Between. It's just really dull, and it doesn't really peak much.
Valentines Day, No More Sorrow, and Bleed it Out are by far the worst of the album. I never even listen to Valentines Day or NMS I despise them so much, I always skip over those tracks. Bleed it Out I've gotten use to hearing since it's played on our radio every day, but Mike's lyrics still sound borderline rediculous on this track. BEST MTM SONGS: 1.) What I've Done, 2.) In Pieces, 3.) The Little Things Give You Away, 4.)Wake. DECENT MTM SONGS: 5.) Given Up, 6.) Shadow of the Day, 7.) In Between, 8.) Leave Out All the Rest. SOMEWHAT BAD MTM SONGS: 9.) Hands Held High. FREAKING HORRIBLE MTM SONGS 10.) Bleed it Out 11.) No More Sorrow. PROBABLY THE WORST SONG EVER WROTE 12.) Valentines Day.
Favorite: Shadow of The Day Least: Leave Out All The Rest Well, I like In Between. It has a cool vibe and I'm always digging it when it's Mike singing. And LOATR is just boring, nothing I hate about it, but it's boring. Shadow of The Day rocks. And that's not being a fanboy of LP or anything, you know just because it's a single. I have always loved it since I heard it first time last year. I just love the lyrics, structure and the guitar solos' climax at the end. Given Up, bad lyrics or not, it was necesary. I think it's pretty important that it made it. The bridge is badass. With that killer riff and scream. I'm not saying I only like the harder stuff but an LP album needs to be balanced for me to like it. MtM was a bit too much to the softer side IMO but No Roads Left would have balanced it perfect.
The last minute has more energy then In Between and Hands held high combined. I'd have to go with In Between. It's not a bad song, it was just my least favorite. They were all good.
