Imagine Dragons Coldplay Daft Punk The Beatles OneRepublic Keith Urban Daughtry Nickleback / Three Days Grace / Theory Of A Deadman and bands like them
I have to say I was rather indifferent to Imagine Dragons but the way their riding Radioactive all the way to the bank really puts a bad taste in my mouth towards them.
^ Apparently I must be one of the only person on this forum to never have heard that song "Radioactive". Song isn't making that big of a buzz here.
They are riding their whole first album to the bank and its pissing me off but to me their music is so good they are still. Top 3 band for me
Coldplay; from Viva La Vida on.... Horrible album and it did not get better afterwords. Limp Bizkit is indeed awefull but Wes Boreland is'nt. I used to like Imagine Dragons but they are gettin annoying. Also, I find Dave Grolh to be way to cocky lately even if I like FF. I can't stand both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Don't like the music and hate the worhip of those bands. Oh and please don't shoot me now EDIT: I forgot Muse! Overrated by most people. Its okay but not legendary......
Okay, here it goes: COLDPLAY One of the most overrated and lame bands ever. I do know a lot of you guys love them, so I'll add: this is my opinion. Other than that, here a are few I'm not too fond of: Foo Fighters (Hate that Grohl dude) Kenrick Lamar (How can this dude be famous?) Disturbed (Loved them for like 10 years, and then I got the chance to see them live. Draiman, who is the leadsinger, was so nonchalant and it felt like he only did it for the money. No connection with the people there, he just wanted the show to end, more or less)
I hate middle-of-the-road generic bands above all else; even if they're not bad by any means, they're just average and have a pointless existence imo. (Nickelback, Creed, Godsmack (aside from I Stand Alone), Shinedown, Daughtry, Avenged Sevenfold, etc.) Also the "teen-girl metal" that doesn't have anything unique about them (Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack!, Chunk! No Captain Chunk, Escape the Fate, Falling in Reverse, etc.) Aside/ I personally love a Day to Remember, Bring Me the Horizon, and a lot of the early 2000's "emo pop" (Story of the Year, Hawthorne Heights etc.), as ADTR has the pop-punk aspect, BMTH has the ambient electronic layer on "Sempiternal", and the emo pop bands have the catchy and emotional clean vocals. /Aside Anyway, back to bands I hate. I hate the entire existence of the genre of crunkcore (Blood on the Dancefloor, Brokencyde) since it combined the "teen-girl" metal mentioned above, with the worst sub-genre of hip hop. The entire 80's mainstream rock scene, aside from Metallica, U2, Guns n' Roses, the Police, and a few others; due to the birth of MTV making music all about the image for a few years (add Marilyn Manson for being all about the image, even if he's from the 90's)
Avenged Sevenfold - He seems like a very chill dude, but I REALLY don't like M. Shadows' vocals. If they got a new vocalist, I'd listen to them a bunch. The Beatles - Never liked their music, it sounds so dead to me. Hollywood Undead - HATE ALL THEIR MUSIC. Fuck, I don't like a single thing about them, I will never understand what people see in them, but to each his own I suppose (unless you listen to Lil Wayne, Drake, etc.....smh)
Red. I fucking HATE Red! Their music is incredibly generic, and really bad. I don't see the appeal, AT ALL.
I guess I never gave my list so I guess here it is: Nickelback Red Avenged Sevenfold Hollywood Undead Black Veil Brides Skillet Limp Bizkit Bon Jovi Disturbed (Or more to the point David Draiman) And then lets just go ahead throw in the whole genres of mainstream Pop, Country, and Rap. Just make this whole thing easier.
brokenCYDE Maroon5 One Direction Falling in Reverse Blood on the Dance Floor Limp Bizkit and all Death-Metal bands and so on...
