Law and Order is better than CSI by far. My science teacher used to make my class watch CSI in class sometimes and they made me want to vomit. I'll never forget one episode where a girl was dead on the floor near a door in a room and the guy that killed her opened the door to get out and it hit her leg and cut her. it might not sound too bad to some people, but it made me sick.
And another episode where dad drugged his daughter and cut her wrists and watched her die while he was crying in the closet. He was trying to help her or something. i don't know how that's helping her.

CSI is better, but ''the district'' is better than both of them in my opinion

Law and Order is better, in my opinion, because it doesn't really have extablished characters. Sure, they have the same characters each time and sometimes you would get some information about them, but the story isn't about them. Law and Order is more focussed on the process of solving a crime in a detectives eyes and convicting a felon in an attorney's.

Shows like CSI and LAPD Blue focus too much on the characters..

I think CSI is better, IMO.
