Alright, I don't know bout u guys, but i LOVE Mike rapping in this album.
Kerrang! is just lame with the skip part, and it seems that this magazine likes In Between, the song Kudows magazine pulled down to the ground.

 

Kerrang is frickin' biased, that's all there is to it.

3 out of 5? that is harsh. our maybe it's the truth? i tend to review my cd's with honesty and i have to say that meteora and hybrid theory were far from amazing but they were ground breaking for fans.

I have to agree with kerrang though, this sounds like this album might be just for the fans.

 

I started of reading & thought "hey this is a good review!" but when they ranted on about mikes Rapping.... :angry:
That made me really anoyed. Mikes one of the best MC's out there, and his work is excellent. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't apreciant Hip-hop as much as I do now!

& even though I haven't heard the MtM samples, what I've heard from everyone else here, his rapping is better than hes ever done before. No reviewer will destroy my anticipation for this great album.

 

They gave Reanimation a 1, and I forget what Meteroa was but seriuosly who cares about the ratings? All that matters is your take on the record. Don't take it horribly guys, if they don't like it, that's their problem.

 

About the songs :
One of the songs remind me ... "Limp Bizkit - Eat You Alive"
I think it was "The Little Things Give You Away" ^^

My God! Kerrang just bashes Shinoda's rapping. This is who Linkin Park is. They have a great singer in Bennington and a leader in Shinoda who also raps, and his rapping is good. No rapper bashes on Shinoda.

 

i don't take LP reviews to seriously, because critics have never really cared for them, much like almost any Nu-metal band.

 

That was awful. They didn't even acknowledge the change LP went through, they acted like this was the same as Meteora. They trashed Mike's raps and never noted how much less he actually DID rap on this CD. Pretty pathetic review. It was like they barely even listened and just expected it to be like Meteora.

 

that writer wouldn't know good rap if it came out of his ass

seriously though, jay-z, arguably the best rapper of all time, loves mike's rhymes. lupe fiasco teams up with mike all the time, as does common. that guy has NO idea what he's talking about.

 

I'd only give it 2 K's out of 5.

I'm not a blind fan who's going to like it just because it's Linkin Park. It's terrible.

 

Mike's Rapping is good! ...Even his singing is good ( Well i liked it ! )

 

I would agree with him actually.
