I think I'm in love with Bullet For My Valentine. I love everything they've been doing lately. The cover of Crazy Train is fucking awesome, and they gave it a new twist, which is essential when a band does a cover. To me atleast.

 

Biffy Clyro's cover of Buddy Holly is horrible.

I dunno, maybe it's just because I'm used to listening to Weezer's version. *Shrugs*

 

Or maybe it's because random noise doesn't always sound good.

 

I finally listened to the album.

I think my favorite covers are Bullet for My Valentine's cover of "Crazy Train," Still Remains cover of "Head Like a Hole" and Killswitch Engage's cover of "Holy Diver."

 

I can only think of one part of the song where it's random noise.

Nothing personal, but you and BxT must have warped ideas of what random noise is.

 

Random noise is good when it's just plain random and stupid. Example...me and my brother making up a song that has the words "Loud Noises!" along with guitars doing noise.

Not example...covering a classic song like Buddy Holly and making it into random noise.

 

I like Biffy Clyro's cover of Buddy Holly. You don't. Let's leave it at that.

 

I hate Biffy Clyro's cover of Weezer's "Buddy Holly" but at least they didn't cover it note-for-note.
