Exactly. It's probably best to post something you haven't posted before. That way, it's new and it won't be recognizable from one of your past posts. Just gives everyone a fair chance.

 

Yes, it is probably a better idea to enter a new poem rather than an old one posted on the board.

Upgrading them to a mod isn't necessarily a decent award. For writing a good song, they're allowed to warn people? Sort of unfair. I think that maybe knowing that yours beating out many others is great.

I was thinking maybe if they wanted an album and were too lazy to buy it, they could get some free Mp3's from me, like whatever they wanted. Like, for example:

Winner #1 / First Place: A Whole Album of their Choice
Winner #2 / Second Place: 3 selected tracks from any artist.
Winner #3 / Third Place: 1 selected track from any artist.

That's an idea, unless you don't want me to be promoting...piracy.

So, until we have an admin approve of this competition, begin writing something new or make something new and improved to enter into the competition. You all just need to sit tight for now.

Ya' see, I'll still have the original PM's that were sent to me as I'm the middle man. So I'll be checking that nobody votes for themselves, and if they do, their entry will be removed and they'll be banned from the competition.

I'm not sure what we are waiting for, GiriosXeni wanted confirmatin from an Admin, but nobody has come in and said it's okay. I say fuck it and we just go ahead & begin, if you agree GiriosXeni? Anyway, here are the terms to enter:

• You must enter a piece of writing that is your own work, and it must either be lyrics or poetry.
• To submit your poem, you'll have to E Mail me (Uncle_Raj). To do this, simply click on my name & "send E Mail to this member". The reason I want E Mails & not PM's is because my E Mail inbox is a lot bigger.
• Your poem / lyrics have no limitations, they can be based on anything and can be as long as you like, that said, try & keep it reasonable. I'm sure people don't want to read an essay when reading your work.
• Once your piece of writing has been submitted, It will be listed in a thread made by GiriosXeni. It will be posted anonymously along with all of the other pieces. The terms of the actual competition, I.E, Voting etc, will be listed in the actual competition topic.
• Good luck, and let's start seeing those entries.

I haven't spoken to GiriosXeni yet so I'm hoping he can decide when he comes online. I've already had a few entries sent, so keep them coming. We want as many participants as possible for the first ever Writers Cove Tournament. Spread the word!
