can't wait for the dilevery of THP,i expect great art book better than ATS and other ones.all hail jj and lp.need to see the full interview
Damn the art is sexy. The 3D and the sketches are equally awesome. Has anyone ever found the article that Mike always refers to, about the herbivores?
The art for this album is shaping up to be the best they've done yet! Honestly, I quite enjoyed the clean and abstract styles with LT and ATS, but this is just insanely cool and really shows off the #Visceral feel of the album.
I just read the whole interview. It was very insightful and makes me appreciate the art that went into this album even more. Unfortunately, the sole commenter on that website called the art boring and said the band does this style of art over and over again (just like before) However, I see an evolution in the art and consider this better than ATS and even LT. While it may bear some resemblances to the previous albums' artwork, I wouldn't call it exactly the same, as I see a lot more detail and abstract imagery this time around. It turns out that none other than Mr. Hahn laid down the ban hammer on James Jean and forbade him from listening to any of LP's new music. I think this was a mistake, as James surely would have been able to create even more "visceral" art while listening to aggressive, carnivorous songs.
