In between the single and album

I remember when The Catalyst came out I thought that waiting about six weeks for the album was pure torture since I was glued on every news article I could find. We got Wretches And Kings two weeks ahead of the album release and that was a great little reward for the wait.

Between Burn It Down and Living Things there was around a 9 to 10 week wait, with Lies Greed Misery coming a month prior to the album release.

Now we have a 15 week gap between the album and Guilty All The Same with one song coming out whenever they feel they need to put it out. The waits keep getting longer and more dreadful and besides these past three amazing days, news on the record has been in slow motion. How do you guys feel? I'm not impatient, just a bit bored with the single. I don't want to wear it out to the point where I skip it when the album drops.

But i think, 'Guilty all the same' is not to be meant as the real leadsingle for LP6. Wait for Transformers 4.

 

"Until It's Gone" will be THE SINGLE.

 

^ And I'm guessing it'll come on April 29, which was originally scheduled to be the big ~reveal~ day it seems. New single + album pre-order that day I imagine.

 

Where did the April 29 date come from? Was that a guess or a probable date?

Or it could be one of the other songs we don't know about.

 

Now this I'm hoping for. That'd be the equivalent of reading the five track sampler reviews of LT and them giving us LGM.
