I've always preferred the 21-track Night Visions over the original. The third and fourth side really do represent how awesome "classic" Imagine Dragons is!
"Demons" has been officially released as a single this week! You can pick up the new single on iTunes in the US here!
They already hinted last month that it was "Amsterdam", simply because they showed a picture of a sun and someone holding an umbrella. "But the rain won't fall for the both of us The sun won't shine for the both of us..."
^Yeah, someone said that in the comments as well. But I already assumed it would be Amsterdam. Nothing but Amsterdam, Bleeding Out and OTOTW would make sense.
Technically, the video for "On Top of the World" is the one for the Night Visions documentary, and the official "Hear Me" video is the lyric video with fans' help. I really want a "Monster" video though.
thought this was a cool video ..
I would've thought it would be a video for "On Top of the World", since it is the single they're promoting at the moment. "On Top of the World" is going to impact UK radio on the 18th, and it's already a massive hit here in Australia.
''Our music video for 'On Top of the World' premieres Wednesday on VEVO…. Here's a screenshot to get you warmed up.'' ABOUT TIME. Just wondering, why do they release music videos immediately after they release a single that had a music video before, like they'll release OTOTW vid just after "Demons" single, which had a music video at the same time "Radioactive" single came out. I'm just weirded out.
Idk, but maybe it's better like this. There's constantly something out, Night Visions is getting insane buzz, I mean it is over a year old and it hasn't left the Top 20 in Billboard 200. Believe it or not, that was shorter than they usually do Radioactive. Try this, my favorite performance ever.
As much as I'm not a fan of their other songs, I love Radioactive and they SMASHED that EMA performance. So much energy! And I see more and more bands are pulling a Mutemath with the drums. Not very original but still looked like fun.
I'm really hoping they're next album is darker than the last. I enjoyed Night Visions, but some songs were a little too pop-ish. I love Monster, Lost Cause, and Ready, Aim, Fire.
