As others have said, if they did a Reanimation-type CD for Meteora. Ever since Meteora was released, I have been praying upon prayer to hear alternative interpretations of Breaking the Habit, Don't Stay, and Easier to Run. And no, the LP/Jay-Z mash-up doesn't count.

If they brought metal and electronica back into the mix. From the sound of New Divide and some of the recent interviews, it sounds like the electronica is coming back, but for me it isn't the same band without the metal. I mean sure, songs like What I've Done and New Divide are kinda cool, but to me they aren't LP anymore. Even if it doesn't sound like Hybrid Theory or Meteora, that would be okay, just the punk and pop (yes, I meant to separately distinguish the two) aesthetics they've been putting on their sound doesn't fit.

If the lineup remains the same, as others have said. The band dynamic is what makes Linkin Park, Linkin Park. To say nothing of Chester or Mike, each member brings something unique to the table, even Rob Bourdon (he was the first musician I ever idolized, actually). Same as if the Beatles had ever had a lineup change; it wouldn't have been the same band.

That's all I can think of right now. Most of my demands do kinda culminate into one ultimate wish: that they hearken back to the Linkin Park of my youth.
