to not attend a show because of other attendees is absolutely ludicrous. a fan of a band should support that band no matter what. so long as you ignore the ignorant and annoying fans of a band, you'll be fine. i mean, i can't stand a lot of bullet for my valentine's fans because they think they're more metal than actual metal, but i'll go to their shows still, because i'm there for the band, not the other people standing around me. especially 'cause they push me and i don't know why. i'm joking about that last part, by the way. i know they call that a mash pit. gawd.
A while back, I tore into a bunch of people on the 30STM forums about the whole "quest to find the bonus tracks" bullshit they always get on with. In fact, I posted what I said in the staff forums.
after four years i actually found all those songs on my own. it was so totally worth it too. so i know how you feel about them not sharing songs. but once i did find them i knew why they kept them to themselves. but i passed them around to a bunch of people who didn't have them. i mean, the band never said "don't share these songs" so i don't know why the folks on those forums freak out all the time. it's sad.
