The Forbidden Zone - The Misfits First song I ever heard from them and it filled me with glee. Slit My Wrists - Murderdolls First song heard by them, and first time hearing of Wednesday 13. I was instantly hooked with the lyrics and the sound. Voices of the Dead - Calabrese I added them as a friend on myspace about maybe a month or two before I sat down and listened. When I did though, this song's video started to play and I was blown away by the way it sounded.
oh werd on Agadez. Blown away from the very first time. Also adding to my initial list: Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley Seasons by Chris Cornell & Am I Inside by Alice in Chains.
oh, and forget her by jeff buckley. i love that song much more than the highly praised cover of hallelujah.
I'm not that bigger fan of Hallelujah to be honest. A bit dodgy on how Forget Her was released though. He never wanted it to be on Grace, and fought so hard to get So Real on instead. But when he's dead, "Oh he won't mind, throw it on as a bonus track". Bit tasteless from his record label, whoever they are.
i don't even care how and why it was released. it's not important to me. all that's important is that it's an amazing song.
Most of Deja Entendu by Brand New Most of White Pony by Deftones First It Giveth by Queens Of The Stone Age Holiday In Cambodia by Dead Kennedys (the version with all the guitar feedback at the start) The Wacky World of Rapid Transit by Del Tha Funkee Homosapien (really!)
