Hit the floor

In my humble opinion, it is the best song on the album.

It's true 'nu-metal', whereas the rest of the cd outside of perhaps Faint, is not.

 

The song tries to hard to be like "Points of Authority," musically.

 

where do you draw that conclusion from?

I think that track rocks. And it gives a good edge to the overall feel of the album.

Same here, I think its a great song but when played live its Hit The Floor is a let down

They've never played Hit The Floor live, only once in Nottingham, but we can't get the music from it. Same as Easier To Run.

 

I really like this song! Its easily one of the best of the CD. It has a more hard rock sound. Its the only really loud song on the album. I also think that the lyrics are great!!!

Also, i'd like to say that I also love Easier To Run!

they played it on almost every show on the lpu tour and pr2003. i have many versions of it, but the album version sounds better.

I like HtF, especially when I was on this "must hear songs not on Live in Texas" kick I was on a while back. Like most other LP songs, this one speaks to me and I can relate to some of it. Definately one of the best on Meteora...but still doesn't come close to Faint

Gots a friend who simply loves this song! In fact it's his fave song from Linkin Park itself... But it think it needs sum cool bridge like faint or sth... But I really like it

 

I'm not picking a favorite but I love it, the fact that it's slow just makes it better, variation! it's like a buldozer, it might be slow but it's also VERY powerfull but I love every single thing linkin park makes.

 

Hit The Floor is a really emotional song, much like Easier To Run is. I think that LP knows this and that's why they aren't very flashy with them. They played them for a while in 2003 european concerts, but they are hard to find live. Not to mention that Easier To Run is really hard to play.

 

I think Hit The Floor is pretty good. I will listen to it every once in a while.

 

Its o.k and I'd listen to it but it wouldn't be one of my favourites
