Okay, just some random Hawthorne Heights things that I've found while searching for the new album. First of all, they have a new Myspace profile for the new album. It has a commercial on it, which gives a 2.314 second long preview of Saying Goodbye from the new album. Secondly, the single for This Is Who We Are is going to be on a DVD, probably with some live stuff, I'd assume. Here's the cover for the single: thirdly, the album has (search LimeWire for "Album: If Only You Were Lonely") leaked. I'm listening to it right now, and so far, it's not particularly groundbreaking. Although from Hawthorne Heights, that was kind of expected. If you've listened to This Is Who We Are and hated it, it doesn't reflect the whole album at all. It's a good, standard album, however. So yeah, that's about it.
not too bad..... which is the official tracklist though? the one andrea posted or the order they are on that downloaded source? thanks for the heads up
This is the official tracklisting on both HawthorneHeights.org and AllMusic.com: 01. This Is Who We Are 02. We Are So Last Year 03. I Am On Your Side 04. Pens And Needles 05. Saying Sorry 06. Dead In The Water 07. Breathing In Sequence 08. Light Sleeper 09. Language Lessons 10. Cross Me Off Your List 11. Where Can I Stab Myself In the Ears 12. Decembers
Awesome, I can't wait to stab myself in the ears... That doesn't count as hate, I was just making a stupid pun that was just dying to be said. Or something.
Eh, it's decent. At least we know this album won't be overhyped like the last one. Everyone hates them now.
There's a huge difference between saying "I don't like Hawthorne Heights because I don't like their style of music" and "OH MY GOD LYK LET'S GO CUT OUR RISTZ BCUZ WER EMO LOlO!L!O!!LoL!O!LO!L AHAHahA !L!O!LO!LO EMoO!1:! LOL!O!L!o1!!!!"
I'm actually suprisingly interested in how much their sound is going to change for the new record and everything, I might actually look into hearing it. So far I don't like their style that much, and I'm not quite sure why I'm so excited for this, but I really hope there's some interesting changes. I'd like to see them improve, they seem like they're talented enough.
Well, I didn't see what was taken out but from what Derek said, everything that was against Hawthorne Heights was removed...That's what I got out of it. "I deleted anything that even remotely referenced hate to HH."
Don't worry. If the "hate" was just "I don't like Hawthorne Heights because they're not for me," I wouldn't have been offended.
I'd hate to break it to you folks, but Hawthorne Heights is an "emo" band. It's not exactly groundbreaking news. The cover is nice, I suppose.
Cut scene from 'The Polar Express'? Don't get me wrong, I'm actually looking forward to this album to see if they've evolved since their latest. I just think that the album art's a bit... childish?
For real. But seriously, I hope this album's better than their first. But then again, I'm one of the few that liked their first CD.
