Your Gonna Go Far Kid is so catchy.
Great solid album from start to finish. There are really no "bad" songs, so songs that are better then others

I think it's going to be the new single. The sticker on the album said "New Album Including Hammerhead and You're Gonna Go Far Kid, which sort of implies it. Here's hoping for a new mega-hit.

The Green Day comparisons people made about some of these songs were exaggerated.

Rise and Fall sounds a lot like American Idiot. That's all I hear from Green Day on this album.

I think the comparisons are being make because Rise And Fall is alot like American Idiot in the sense that it's much more alternative rock than it is punk. That's my theory anyway.

Hmm, I'm not sure but to me, the riff in RaF sounds almost indetical to American Idiot. The lyrics bear no similarities whatsoever though.

Ooooh, you're on about the song Rise And Fall...I thought you were on about the album itself.

Then again it doesn't help that both titles for track and album are the same for both lol

I can see why some would say they're similar actually. Same structure and similar sounding riff. I wouldn't say it's intentional though.

Haha yeah and the worst part is that I wrote that post just after I finised reading the Ambiguity and Vagueness lesson for my exam. I didn't learn shit

And I agree that it probably wasn't intentional.

Btw what's everyone's favourite song from this album? Mine is definitely A Lot Like Me.

    Great album.

I don't hear Green Day at all, except the aforementioned song. Other than that, absolutely nothing.

Nothingtown gets some GD comparisons too, but I see it as more of a Conspiracy of One sound.

Excellent album. I like Fix You, very unexpected.
The drums in Rise And Fall have strong similarities to American Idiot, but that's it.
