Best. Halo 2. Moment. is when the Master Chief pops up at High Charity and say's boo and scares the living shit out of the grunts. Xbox Live is annoying. The Machtmaking thing takes forever unless your a high level.
Tomorrow, November 17, at 9 PM EST, we'll be able to play against Ben Burnley from Breaking Benjamin. His gamertag will be breakingbenji.
I haven't played the game but I know it's overhyped based on this fact: Most people in my school would rather play halo 2 than have sex.
Anyone who thinks that way is most likely a virgin. As for the topic at hand -- it's definitely the best game of the year out of the 3 super-duper hyped up games: Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Halo 2. I own all of them and Halo 2 takes the cake for several reasons. 1) Original, intense, interesting storyline. It just keeps expanding, getting better and better as you play -- just like the first game. 2) Improved graphics and gameplay. It runs so smoothly now and it's never been better to engage in fights with all the new weapons and moves. 3) The soundtrack -- Martin O'Donnell (?) has improved since his last soundtrack -- songs like "Earth City" and "Impend" show this guy has moved up quite a few notches. Not only that, but he got Incubus (I'm sure it wasn't hard getting them) to record FOUR instrumental tracks that are out of this world! The other rock tracks are sub-par. I think I like this game a little more because I've read and am still reading the books -- I'm a Halo nerd, so I guess I'm biased in my views.
That has to be the lamest ending i've EVER seen. At least we know now whats going to happen in Halo 3. Though, its the best game i've ever played and i'll gladly play it over and over
I was not disappointed with the ending at all. It reminded me of a LotR ending, mostly the first one. You know there'll be a continuation and although it'll be in a long time, be thankful for such a great sequal! I was impressed with the storyline and how they kept it going and even expanding it! I await for something in Feb. of 2005 now.
Detail me.
Bungie officially that their next project was NOT going to be another Halo game.
Detail me.
Someone made up a rumor that, if you beat the game on Legendary, a special message was displayed at the end of the credits that said something about February 9. After that, a bunch of people from the HBO forums played the game on Legendary and beat it, and found that there was, in fact, no message about February 9, or even an alternate ending. It was all a lie, and was also denounced by Bungie. They've also said that their next project is not a Halo game, but there's a good chance (60-40) that there will be at least one more Halo game in the future.

Well I never said Halo 3 was the next game from Bungie. I said something is coming in Feb. of 2005 because of that damned Ilovebees countdown. I hope it's a book announcement, haha. I said we wouldn't see anything from Halo in possibly a few years.
