    Hey, it makes sense. On the rare occasion, like this one, where a song becomes viral and generates money, this allows him to profit more. As the producer, the writer, and a performer.

    Learn to read. He clearly stated that SIB had shitty lyrics, but the instrumentation is solid. Just because he doesn't think it's as bad as you say doesn't mean he is an extreme fanboy who thinks LP are gods. So get off your condescending high horse. I happen to agree that the lyrics are god awful and ruins the replay value but SIB instrumental is solid on its own.

    To be fair, Astat, Minus posted a thread with the title "Limp Bizkit still sucks sperm whale balls."

    You're choosing a Rebecca Black thread to antagonize Derek about being hypocritical? The video was being passed around the internet for days as a joke link. If a crime has been committed, it's for posting this thread in Other Music instead of Random Chat.

    The "respect other people's musical tastes" rule was put in place to protect people's musical preferences against being insulted or flamed. It's well documented that there are Limp Bizkit fans on these forums. Minus could have posted the link to the Limp Bizkit song with a title that was less trolling and simply said "In my opinion, this is awful" and the thread would have continued onwards. But as the self-appointed court jester of the forums, he decided to go another route and it lead to the thread, rightfully, being closed. There's no comparison here unless you want to stand up and be the crusader for the musical integrity of "artists" like Rebecca Black, Jenna Rose and Bangs and say that he was insulting the musical tastes of their fans (of which there were none when he posted the link, and likely number in the dozens at this point).

    Pick your battles better. Seeing as the intent of your post was to antagonize Derek I won't be allowing this thread to devolve into chaos. You can PM me if you'd like to continue this discussion. *Closed*
