You know how in the Vice City commercials they had the song 'I Ran' by A Flock of Seagulls? They will probably do the same with San Andreas but with Head Like A Hole.
After long meditation, I have concluded that this is either bull, or only partly true. 1) The main character is from 'da hood'. I doubt he'd listen to AFI or NIN or 2) It's a song from one of the radio stations. They have the rap station, the rock station, the oldies station, soft rock station, etc, but no other info about songs to be included on those stations has been leaked.
Now, I love AFI to death, but...WTF? Davey and Trent sound nothing alike vocally, Davey is way to high pitched for that song.
No offense, but where's that information from? I didn't see a link, but maybe I missed it or something... but San Andreas is going to be a different kind of game than the previous two. It's going to have a more of hip-hop influence than anything else, so I don't see why they'd have a rock track in it... maybe, but I don't know. As for the Breaking Benjamin video -- it had clips from "Run Like Hell" in one of the versions. Granted they were clips from the cutscenes and not the actual gameplay, but it was from the game. Check it out (it's the second one): http://www.shallowbay.net/video.html They were video clips from the game, though -- not sure if you meant video clips or audio clips.
I said it was from theninhotline.net in a later post in this thread. It's probably not true since it was submitted by someone, but hey, rumors never hurt. As for rock not being in the game, it has to be, IMO. I mean come on, a game that has radio stations and the only station is rap? :wth:
Ah, OK, I missed that Radio stations being only rap is a high possibility. The style of music in GTA and GTA:V wasn't ecclectic. I'm just saying I doubt it for now... it could be true, but I'm doubting it.
They are not just going to have rap in the game. I am pretty sure Rock Music has already been confirmed.
No music besides hip-hop has been confirmed for sure. Looks like there will be rock music in it, though: But, as I said, as far as this song goes, I'm doubting it until I hear something official I'm not saying it's not possible -- it's very possible -- but I just see no reason to believe two anonymous people mailing this information in.
Rockstar have officialy said that although the game is going to be hip-hop influenced in many ways, there will still be multi-radio stations, i.e rock, pop etc.
Yes, but back to the topic at hand... how do we know the information that AFI covering NIN is true? From two anonymous sources?
Is it possible that it could just be a song for San Andreas' commercial? Like that one Flock of Seagulls song was for VC?
