BEST SOLO ROCK VOCAL PERFORMANCE: Ryan Adams, "Wonderwall"; Steve Earle, "The Revolution Starts Now"; Melissa Etheridge, "Breathe"; Bruce Springsteen, "Code Of Silence"; Tom Waits, "Metropolitan Glide" Dear god, I hope she doesn't win for that horrid song. It's a cover of a song by an excellent band from St Louis who is semi-famous named Greenwheel. She took the song and destroyed it, and what pisses me off more is since not many people know about Greenwheel, the original writers and band who sang it, many people give her credit for it. Giving her a Grammy for it would just be an insult to Greenwheel and their fans. Greenwheel deserves the Grammy for that song since their version, the original version kicks ass

They nominate Ray Charles right after he dies...brilliant. Nobody is going to choose The Reason or My Immortal because they were too damn overplayed.
It's not like he doesn't deserve them, but damn that's corny and overappreciative. Linkin Park: 5 #1 singles, no nominations Hoobastant: Radio saturation, nominated. Why?[/quote] Yeah. The indie rock thing is back in nowadays. Let em have some awards while they're still mainstream.
