I'd disagree with that,being a boy myself I know that some of my friends think they're pimps etc. and its considered cool,if a girl goes out with like 10 boys and has sex with them all (or wateva) they'll be called a ho or a slut etc.

I'll just stick to 1 for now

 

Men might get somewhat less offers then girls, but they're easier to concern since men are usually more subtle in their attempts, girls always barge in like: "hey, wanna fuck?" so to speak..

Okay, I'm going to go off on a little tangent that's been bothering me for quite a while.


My friend complains about how 'poor' she is.

She has a maid that comes every day, a three story house, a THEATER in her basement, and laptop in every room in her house, and wears nothing but Hot Topic (which is expensive). She then persists to complain about how much her life 'sucks' because people used to make fun of her in elementry for having black hair, and she has trouble trusting people now because of it. Regardless if they are completely nice to her now, she can't accept the fact that people change, and only 'made fun of her' for a stupid reason.

Now, my dad was a poor ass bastard when he got divorced with my mom. I was about 6, my sister was 9, my brother was 11. My dad moved into a 2 bedroom appartnemt-which he was evicted from because he couldn't afford to pay the rent- and my sister and I shared a matress on the floor. We didn't even eat some days because we just couldn't afford it. Luckily we make better ends now and live in a fine house, but I'm just saying. Some people have it so much worse than we do, so don't sit and whine about how you can't buy another DVD every day, because you dad didn't give you 30$ every day like he always does.

Also, I was teased non-stop for various things my ENTIRE life during gradeschool and middle school. I was literally tormented..harassed, I had no friends, my life sucked. I tried to kill myself 3 times. It got so bad that I had to switch classes because of the 3 main girls that were harassing me. She complains about how people were mean to her because she has black curly hair, and I'm supposed to pitty her for that? If I can gather up the strength to not give a fuck what people think about me anymore, after having gone through all that, I'm sorry, but I have no pitty for you. :wth:

 

Rich folks don't live a picture perfect life like everyone seems to think. Sure, they have alot of money and what seems like happiness, but it's lonely at the top.

I'm not rich like your friend there, but I like to think my family is well off as far as money goes. My father didn't have anything when he was growing up. He was poor. He made to build his own bike, and bought his first car himself from a junkyard and had to rebuild it from scratch, but then it fell on him, but that's a different story.

Anyways, yeah. I'm not uber-rich like your friend there, but my family has more money than most of my friends, and for that fact alone I'm teased about it, because I come from a spoiled upbringing, where as they come from a "broken home" of sorts. Divorced parents, crap house, virtually no relationship with parents, etc etc.

I have a good life, I'll admit that, but I don't have as near as a better life as some people I know that are in my familys income range. I'm mainly teased by the "preps" for the reason that I dress differently and listen to "weird" music and whatnot. I'm not going to piss and moan about it. I enjoy it. I like being different.

I know of a girl that is rich in every sense of the word, and she has a terrible relationship with her mother and father, but she has everything. Some people might say, "Why are you complaining about your life? You have everything!". But she doesn't. She doesn't have a good relationship with her parents, which is important to her. She's really popular at school too, so she's not an outcast or anything.

I guess my point is that even rich families have bad lives, some are worse than you could imagine, some not so bad, but it all depends on the person really.

 

me too... we don't have THAT much money.. but we got the money to live on. sometimes we spend too much.. so there comes a time when we don't have much money to spend. but we live trough it. i can do the things i like. play guitar. post on this great forum . play games on the computer hang out with my friends. listen to linkin park.
i was also teased and stuff.. but it wasn't that extreme. they didn't touch me. it was verbally only.. i don't have many friends. but the friends i have. are the ones i can build on. and that's ok. becouse you don't need more than that. of course, it would be nice to have that. but we don't need that. as long as we are happy things are OK..
