I dunno wher i'm going with my life, i cant seem to make decisions and figure out whats good n bad for me. I'm moving to D.C this august for college, and its gonna be a helluva daunting task for me cuz i m only 15 . Sometimes i cant figure out how and why i finished highskool so quickly, i mean my classmates r all 18 and above which kinda makes me the youngest guy in the class by a long way . I'm already done with my SAT's and i scored 1485 which is kinda descent enuf score, so my dad is forcing me to apply for Georgetown. I mean the last thing i would want is me not being able to cope with all the pressure...And it relly doesnt help when a cousin of urs got his M/s from MIT, the expectation levels r alwyz sky high....DAYM I HATE THIS !!!

I hate it when parents expect too much, even though I've never experienced this first hand. It's disgusting, like you're not happy with what you have. Talk to them. Tell them what you want to do. I'm not sure what that is, but eh...

 

It is not that easy to talk your parents out of their expectations. It would be ridiculous if it were that easy, their expectations are high for a reason.

That reason sometimes has something to do with them wanting you to be successful or happy or something similar.

 

Ugh, I really don't feel like working tomorrow, I still have 6 working days left... I can't just quit after going one time, can I ?

It's not that it's such a terrible job but there isn't any organisation for jobstudents at all... they think we know what to do without them telling us, that's what I hate about it.
If they want us to work, they should tell us what to do!

 

Wat!?....how stupid is that!?...working without instructions???....that's like learning a language without even knowing what the hell you're learning (or nobody's there to teach you...)....well...maybe slightly different but something like that...

 

Yeah, I know. It's stupid, I guess some people who work there just can't explain things. I understand they aren't teacher but maybe they should hire someone else to explain everything then...

Today's Thursday. That might not be significant to a lot of you, but it means I've been back in the hospital for four days.

Monday was my follow-up appointment with my doctor to make sure I was recovering properly. Well, I wasn't. The doctor wouldn't let me go home and I was readmitted into the hospital and had surgery a couple hours later.

It turns out I had a major infection in the incision on my left side, and it was causing me immense pain. They had to go in and clean out all the liquids and infection in my chest before it got worse.

I'm probably going to be kept for one more day so they can make sure the entire infection is gone. If the infection comes back, I have to have the entire surgery all over again.

Luckily, though, I'm in barely any pain. Here's to hoping all goes well.
