Well, I guess I don't have to worry about dying from MDMA the first time, seeing as how I did that a year ago. Maybe it's the second time it kills you? :p

    Party in five days.

You know what's strange to me? In about two weeks I will be 17, and then that'll be one more year until I'm 18 and my (biological) Mom will legally have the right to contact me. When my brother turned the age of eighteen, his Mom contacted him on the day of his birthday in a letter. The agency I came from said that people who give up their children to other families are most definently known to do that once they know their child's come of age.

I'm kinda wierded out by it. I dunno if I wanna meet her or not.

Aww, so much bad crap going on... I feel bad writing mine out but I DO have something to let out.

My sympathies to you, Tom. Anya, just let it happen. It's better to at least experience and meet her rather than just wonder. Unless you don't wonder at all, then it's your prerogative. Will, you should probably talk to your doctor about that.

    And here's mine.

Freshmen Orientation was Sunday and yesterday. It was a really good experience. Actually I met this girl during one of the speeches and we hit it off pretty well... better than how I usually do when I meet new people (especially girls). I guess we just clicked... we seemed to have about the same sense of humor and were equally interested in getting to know one another (or maybe I'm delusional and making this all up in my head... sometimes I talk incessantly about myself without even knowing it [which is bad since I try SO hard to listen to others and rag on people for not doing otherwise]). I don't know what came over me, but I asked for her cell number and she gave it to me.

Now I've been in a few relationships, but none of them really had the thought of 'I'm going to be with you for a long time.' In the back of my head I always thought, when I met someone I eventually hooked up with, 'well we probably won't last.' But I don't know... I've never become friends with someone so fast and yeah.

It's her real number, because I called her once during Orientation. But now I'm just too stupid and nervous to try calling her. I doubt we have many classes together, she's majoring in Biology and I'm majoring in Business Administration (with a minor in Arts and Performance) and my hopes that I'll see her during the school days are against the odds. I don't normally feel this crazy about someone so shortly after meeting them but I mean... come on. What are the chances that she feels the same way? Damn, I've thought myself into a hole.

I don't know what to do. I feel so childish right now. This is all probably very silly, but I just don't know. Maybe I'm overreacting? Maybe I'm crazy. =/

I used to be the same way, until I looked at it this way, what's the worst that could happen? Get to know her, hang out with her a few times if you can, get to really trust her and see how she feels, and if it goes anywhere, more power to ya, and if it doesn't, hey it doesn't. But it'd be a learning experience.

Yeah I'm guessing that's what I should do too...

She's originally from Arkansas, but she'll be moving to Texas permanently in AUGUST. So I guess it's solely myspace and AIM until then.

I already told her I'd show her around town when she moved, so I at least have THAT much.

Well hey, distance doesn't always matter. Look at me, my girlfriend lived here 5 years ago but she lives in Iowa now, almost 900 miles away from me, and she will be living there till January when she moves back here. We're still together and we're doing amazingly well. As long as you could handle the distance for a little while, you're golden.

I can't go for it until a year, and I know I have nothing to lose but it's still kinda wierd. I wouldn't know what to say or ask lol. And what if she gave me up for a stupid reason? I would be pissed.

    But we'll see.

    Tom:
Spend a lot of time with her. Enjoy with her, be withher as much as possible. How old is your gran, if it isn't rude to ask? My gran had cancer(breast) too but it's almost cured now...but blood is more serious. Anyway, just forget about it all and just spend as much happy time with her as you can.
