It's okay, say what you like about him... I know damn well he's an idiot.

Thing is, when i try to talk to him, like I said, he'll twist everything around so that I'm the one in the wrong. He's even admitted that to me, but still, he does it.

Dads can be such assholes. I don't even have a nice stepdad. Well, he tries to be nice, but just comes off as creepy.

Question for you, if you don't mind me asking: Do you think that in years to come you'll end up missing your dad? Because that's what my mum feels, and I really don't believe her

 

Eh, not too much. I mean, when he is nice, wich is really really rare, he is really cool. But he stopped me from doing more than he helped me to do. I think it is important to maybe keep a door open, but other than that, it doesnt matter too much.

My dad acts a lot like yours...minus the crying and the other family. He only hears what he wants to and doesn't believe anything we really say. And he is so fucking confused because he wants to scare off any guy that likes me and he thinks i'm ugly and not wanted if i don't have guys chasing me. Right now, i do have guys chasing me, but I never let him know, so he thinks no one wants me and I'm ugly. He makes me so mad.

But, i'm afraid, if he won't listen, the only thing you can do is what you have been doing: ignore him.

It's sort of hard to ignore him with my mum butting in :angry: I love her and all, but she's being a bit silly right now.

@Evan-Aw, i'm sorry about that. What were the breakup terms? Is there a chance you guys could get back together or would it just be better to kind of strike her from your heart? Those kinds of things are hard to deal with. Breaking up is always hard to cope with. Things take time to heal. Just give it time. Its going to suck horribley until you're over it though.

I spoke to him and he said he wasn't gonna tell her about these sudden feelings, however he did. Then after about a year of everything we've been through; the arbortion and her nearly dying of pneumonia with me there by her side all the time she actualy says she has slight feelings for him too...

I broke it off last week but getting over someone I actualy did love isn't easy. I left the party early last night because they were both there, I couldn't be there while Sarah was there and if I'm within 300 metres of Daniel I want to kill him.

Geeze, I'm sorry, Luke. That is aweful. I'm sure you'll be fine though. IT just takes time. I'm not sure what else I could say. Love is a rough thing. The high points are euphoric and the low points are hell itself. good luck. :hugz:

Yeah man....its hard to forget when you really loved a person...sometimes i wish i never met her but then again it was one of the best times anyone can have...

 

My guitar teacher always told me that a couple of notes off wouldn't matter... relax hon
