My mom lost her job yesterday. My family of 5 is now living on nothing more than my dad's $400 per week unemployment checks, which run out pretty soon. Awesome.

Or a big big warning sign![/QUOTE]

Thanks guys <3 But it turns out that his ex-girlfriend's granma died and that's why he's been with her lately because she is really crushed. And I feel bad now about complaining for our relationship. It just shows how wrong I was. But idk, things are kinda getting back to normal in our relationship and huh, hell I got a ring for our 5 month anniversary (just a gift) so I really feel bad for not trusting him :(

Ugh. It's so amazing how my mom can make it out like I'm somehow the bad guy for being an atheist.

As I said before, it's a lot easier to NOT trust someone. But hey, you not trusting him and then feeling guilty will probably help you to trust him more now.

    TAKE MY HAND!

No but seriously, as soon as I have enough money, maybe within the next two years I'm moving to Spain, Barcelona, come with me and Dean.

UK is a shithole for the most of it, sometimes I feel depressed just living in this country. :\

It's not as much the country that I'm fed up with (although I do want a change of scenary)...it's just that recently I've been getting all these hints that it might be time for something new. I don't know though...if I go anywhere I'll probably move to California for a year or two because my Mum owns a house out there...I think the problem is that everyone I know has moved on and changed and I havn't so maybe it's time I did too.

There's just so much shit going on right now. I feel like my band wont progress to the next step, my friends are gradually fading out of my life and I'm fed up waking up each morning lacking motivation to get on with my projects and goals and I know it's because I've woken up in the same dreary flat in the same dreary place for the past 18 years.

This time ext year I'll be 19 and pushing 20 and that scares the fuck out of me because I feel like there's alot I've missed out on and I've gotta get it all under my belt while I'm still young. I sound like an OAP when I say it but I'm seeing already that life is fucking short, I was 10 less than 9 nine years ago and it only feels like yesterday.

A lot of people would say that about their home country, and that people living somewhere else would be lucky, but really, it's all perspective.

The crime rate in the U.S. is ridiculous, and the health care plans are stupid as hell, but yet tons of people think it's the place to go. I personally would love to live in the U.K. But there are people who say that the U.K. sucks.

    Again, it's all perspective.

I don't know why anyone wouldn't have at least considered leaving the UK. I understand there is this idealistic view where everything here is like Harry Potter and The Famous Five but, to put it plainly, it's a fucking dump. It's a rudderless ship. It's going back to how it was during the '80s and I'd rather not wait a decade for it to get back on its feet, definitely not while the male Hilary Clinton (Cameron) or Stalin-lite (Brown) is screwing the place up further. I know the world as a whole is going through tough times but, from first-hand experience and otherwise, there are plenty of places better than this. I want to be able to be proud of where I'm from but it's hard.

About the countries issues to everyone:

I strongly believe the feeling of whether we are proud or not from where we come from is really circumstantial because, as Dean said, this is a world wide current event.

I don't believe about countries like U.K and United States to be the first in line countries to suffer the consequences, because even though the governments have gone short on money and so the economy has slowed down, these countries still experience (at least) good capitalism and have a great laissez faire policy. Despite the fact that many people are getting their hours cut off at work, and gettiing laid off, the mass media is at its peak. We can't deny that we, and I specify within this range age group in this site, that we are the first ones in line to go and buy the latest computer or to watch the best movie or whatever. As nationalism goes, every country has it's ups and down, and for those who live in the U.K, you might not be proud of where are from right now and I was not born in U.K either, but I have taken AP European History and hell, most of the USA' technological advances are just improvements of British ideas and such. And also, it's amazing how Britain influenced on making USA a democractic country after the colonization. I say to be proud of your country because today is just today and tomorrow will offer more opportunities. I'm proud of where I'm from, Venezuela, even though it is a socialist country now. But I'm also proud of USA, which has been my "home" for five years now. Idk, this is just me though.

 to everyone. A cop out I know, but I haven't been online here for a few days.

I'm now officially seeing my ex-girlfriend's (ex) best friend. And to be honest I couldn't care less how much she wants me dead now.

"I'd like to repeat the advice I gave you before, in that I think you really should make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been to hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security...which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences...Ron, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security...I guarantee you will be very glad you did. But I fear that you will ignore my advice...Ron...it would be a shame if you did not take the opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience... The only person your are fighting is yourself and your stubbornness to engage in new circumstances...Just get out and do it. Just get out and do it. You will be very, very glad that you did."

that gave me a bit of inspiration

I'm not one of these people who dislikes the UK, in fact I'm pretty proud of being 3 quarters British. London, England will always be my home no matter where I go and I know that there are far worse places in the world. With that said, no one really comment on the matter if it's a simple case of just being fed up of living here.

There are plenty of reasons for one to leave the UK - our prime minister is just as big of a joke as our last one, everything over here is ludicrously expensive (especially in the cities), the rise in knife and gun crime and there's an obvious decay in the decorum of people's will not to let this country turn to shit (not completely but it's a noticeable decrease). For me it's not a question of disliking the UK but more of a disliking for what it's become. I wouldn't leave the UK for those reasons though. As I said, London will always be my home but you can't deny someone a change of scenary.

It is NOT my fucking fault we don't have clean rooms yet at 9:30 in the morning, it is NOT my fault your agency fucked up your departure date and it is NOT my fault you feel filthy after a 5 hour flight.

And then he wouldn't believe we were 100% full last night so Nilton showed him the percentages of this week and he told Nilton to fuck off.

I'm popping lots of pills this week, it's just too much stress in my private life and work.
