Sorry, that isn't a way to present a well-thought reply.

As Derek said, go out and vote, if you're really scared McCain will win. That way, at least you put your effort into having Obama, and not mcCain.

But of course, Weather you vote Obama or McCain, There is no Correct answer, just whoever you believe will do the best job.

It's like, ever since school started, I don't feel anything.

After some deliberation, I think it might be for the best if I just start working full-time wherever and drop out completely. Some advice would be good.

 

So.. about a week ago my close friend Thomson kissed me. He means a lot to me.. he was there for me when I needed him, whenever I had problems with Tody he would always be right by my side to pick me up when I fell, no matter what. A while later, he confessed he had started to have feelings for me. A couple weeks go by and we start hanging out more. He starts telling me that he thinks we shouldn't hang out anymore. I asked why and he said, "You know how I said I loved you..? I'm really starting to mean it.. you're adorable." I don't think I realized it at the time but I was starting to gain feelings for him as well. I realized that every time I was with him, I completely forgot about Tody and I was happy again.

So.. Tody and I have been apart for a maybe two weeks now..? And.. It's to the point where, I no longer think of him at all. I've given up on him.. and I've never been so happy. I'm with Thomson now.. and I definitely feel like this time it will last. I talked to Tody's brother David yesterday and he said, "My brother's an idiot. I don't care about you and Thomson.. that's great, he's a really good guy. Tody made his bed, so now he has to lay in it."

I mean, yeah me and Tody will remain friends.. he still means a lot to me, but I'm really happy that I'm ready to move on.

 

I'm scared Obama is going to win.

I don't know the whole situation you're in, but I think you should reconsider.

If you can afford to (I mean, financially, emotionally, ...), I think you should try. You'll be sorry if you don't, later in life. I know that sounds cliché, but it's the true. Certainly because I really think you can manage getting a college degree.

I hate over-enthusiastic people.

 

Why do I have to work 6 days in a row for 5 weeks long? Why can't I get a back-to-back while Nadine has 2 in 1 month time? Why am I the only fucking person who has to work whenever they want me to?

I fucking hate my job. I'm so tired but they don't even care.

 

Thanks. I want to stay on if I can, I think, but for a start I'm not sure if I can actually afford it right now in either respect that you mentioned. I have a few different problems I have to address and obviously leaving would get that one out of the way, and it would probably benefit me in the short term at least. I know I have about seven months left, if that, but I already feel really burnt out as it is. I'm not sure if it would actually make much of a difference in the long term if I stayed either. I dunno. Thanks again though. It's something I need to think about but of course I'm not really in the best position to think without actually doing something.

Well, there's two sides to this, really. There's one side that says you have to stay in school, if possible. There's another that says you should do what makes you happy. The problem is you can't really tell if staying in school will make you happy or not.

It's a very hard decision and you should give it a lot of thought, I'm not saying anything you don't know, and I can't really help you, though.

 

I'm not totally sure which would be better in terms of making me happy, haha. Thanks though. Even if you aren't necessarily making any breakthroughs in regards to what I ought to do it's always nice to have someone showing at least some concern.
