So while Hanna was dumping a lot of rain on us, we had a tornado about 15 minutes from my house. Now I live in the city/suburbs, but where the tornado hit is directly in center city. Allentown is like a mini center city Philadelphia or New York City. For years and years I've always heard people say that we could never get a tornado because we're in the city and surrounded by valley mountains, but hot damn it happened! It only lasted about 90 seconds or so, but it kicked up close to 100mph winds.

Crazy stuff, thought I'd share.

 

I was born in Allentown but live in Bethlehem. I'm about 15 minutes from Center City Allentown.

I've been on them. They don't make you feel good, they just stop you getting miserable enough to kill yourself.
Though I wasn't on the for depression, but yeah, I still felt that effect.

I wouldn't recommend them.

 

You know what? Fuck you. You're supposed to be my best friend and we haven't seen each other in over a month, and then you cancel plans we'd made a week in advance to go to a party. Theres been a lot of times in this past year and a half where I've held back from saying how I really feel in order to avoid a fight, but fuck it. Bitch.

So people get mad at me with some of the things I say, with how blunt I am with my views and actions. It has hurt people, apparrently, so I'm cutting back with my actions and some of the things I say to make myself a better person. Now, people get aggrivated because I sit there and don't make my usual comments on certain situations.

So which is it? What the fuck do you want me to do?

 

I have experienced exactly what you said..
But I took the decision not to change my character/views/actions in purpose. I know that some things I say may seem harsh+might hurt the person refered to...I like being myself, this is why my friends love me+this is why I love their company, too! Everyone is original! They know me, thus they understand what I say and do and they won't get me wrong.
