I'm beginning to wonder why the hell I bothered yesterday actually, because I have just discovered that my regions votes were all for nothing. Although Conservative got more votes than Labour, the party in power has not changed because it has 'No Overall Control'

Pft..
So yet again, Labour is in control of Gloucestershire and quite a few other regions in the UK because of this ¬.¬ I is not one happy bunny right now.

But overall, Labour has had the worst poll in 40 years (they lost about 330 Councillors and lost 9 Councils) whilst conservative had their best poll since 1992 (they gained 256 Councillors and gained 12 Councils)

UK members, I would like to hear your opinions on the voting

Labour are on a bit of a decline and the BNP are being kept out for the most part. Can't really complain.

For one, I rarely get things done on time, and rarely apply myself to anything I don't want to do, and I know there's gonna be a lot of shit I don't want to do later on in life. I'm horrible at interacting with people in a working environment, I'm cocky, arrogant, I'm a huge smartass, and I can barely focus for more than 30 minutes on one thing, unless I REALLY want to do it.

I guess maybe I'm just looking at things from a negative perspective, but I've been this way for a while, and I don't see myself just up and popping out of what I've been doing for so long. My parents are probably right, I'm going to get fired from jobs, I'm not going to have any friends, and I'm not going to get into college, or anything like that. As it is, I'm having trouble with courses that were easy for everyone else. I feel stupid as hell for not being able to grasp things that are "so easy". I'm not giving up, because I don't do that, but fuck, I feel so defeated half the time anymore.

 

Iain, . I can't say much other than 'don't give up', and yeah, you can prove your parents wrong, right? Just keep trying and stay positive! It makes a huge difference.

 

Now now Iain, you're way too negative about yourself. It's not bad to critisize yourself, it's what makes each of us a better person. You're not cocky, arrogant nor a huge smartass from my view. You're going to prove your parents wrong alright? If you want to change, there's always room for it, don't forget that!

 

You'll learn to live with it if you haven't already.
