Back In the Studio

First day back in the (recording) studio after the art show madness is over...I was working on music from home for the past few weeks. Good stuff coming along. I'll post some pictures or something soon. Today we started a song that sounds like Queen meets AC/DC meets hardcore techno. It was pretty ridiculous, but I think it might turn into something cool later. Then again, it could just stay the same as it is...kinda silly.

he did say nothing was 'officially confirmed' meaning maybe they are in talks with him and he's gotta see what his schedule looks like?

the idea of no Rick Rubin (i liked MTM btw and Rick Rubin is a great producer), and LP's mindset of Hybrid Theory has me very excited. Please no Meteora 2. Please Minutes To Theory!

 

That last bit is what they said about MtM. "It's going to be different, but you'll definitely know that's it's Linkin Park."

I just don't get how they can do these awesome intros at live shows but not have that kind of stuff on the album. (I.E. The W.I.D. Extended Live Intro).

 

"Mentally" want to go back to HT: not really understand what he means by that but it gets me excited a little.

Still sticking to the "drain of salt" policy.

 

Hell I hope it's like Hybrid Theory. No, I don't mean I want it to sound the same but I want it to be refreshing and get me into music like HT did. I mean HT opened my eyes up to music, so it'd be great to hear an ablum like that again.
