Well we've had the same set list as the Köln show but it was awesome
Chester had a perfect voice and all those new intros and outros really make it a fantastic show
Rob's drum solo was also perfect.

There is a feature about the history of the band in Kerrang! this week, where they seem to have discussed certain things such as Chester's problems with drugs and alcohol in more depth than usual, but as usual it's not likely I'll be able to scan it myself. I guess this is just a heads up, in case anyone else wants to go to the trouble.
EDIT: There's a chance I might be able to tomorrow actually but I'm not promising anything.


Incidentally it's also a hell of a lot less fickle than the last feature they did about the band, where the writer seemed pretty bitter that they weren't willing to talk about their personal lives.

 

I'm sure if something has been posted about this but how long does it take for the sound ingeneer to put the show on internet?
What's the minimum time perdiod to download it?

It says within 10 days of the performance on the download website.

 

I swear if they accuse them of being a boy band...

 

It'd be weird if they came clean about addictions and stuff from the past couple years.

You gotta wonder sometimes whether they are into that stuff.
All the other greats seem to be into drugs, Elvis, The Beatles, Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses, Trent Reznor, Kurt Cobain. List goes on.
Why not LP I guess.

 

Hey. Just saw this part of an interview on lptimes. It's a bit about Chesters abuse as child.

Take a look. I laughed when I read this lines though it's sad for Chester. I bolded the joke.

LINKIN PARK frontman CHESTER BENNINGTON has opened up about the abuse he suffered as a child - insisting it is the reason he turned to a career in music.
The In The End hitmaker claims to have suffered years of sexual abuse throughout his childhood at the hands of an older male friend.
And Bennington insists the traumatic experiences forced him to express his feelings through writing poems and song lyrics.
The 31-year-old believes forming his first band, Grey Daze, helped save his life. He says, "It was an awful time. I hated everyone in my family. I felt abandoned by my mum, my dad was not very emotionally stable then, and there was no one I could turn to.
"The relationship I had with that band was the first time I felt a connection with anybody. From then on, I started getting some confidence back. I also found it a good way to escape the abuse of my past."

 

How the hell is that a joke?

 

How the hell is that funny. If you think that's at all funny then your perception of humour must be fucked up to the extreme.

Chester has said in the past that he was sexually abused as a child. I didn't think he meant for years though. Poor Chester.

I really wish kerrang died! Thing is they were bashing LP when they said they didn't want to talk about their personal life and then LP give them an interview based on their past (which is personal life), but I seem to remember chester has had interviews in the past on the same subject.

Heeh. Sorry guys. You misunderstood. I didn't make it clear enough, I didn't mean the fact that Chester was abused was funny.

Just funny how they said "the In The End" hit maker in the same sentence. You know... In The End. That's all. Feel sorry for Chester though.
