Good *free* online RPG games

I tried the links for the other 2 files and one of them doesnt work and the other one is in japanese...

 

Was it the kRO one that didn't work? Yeah they're in korean, so it may be a bit tricky to install them, but once you run the updater after having both installed it's all in english.

Can't find alternate downloads, but you could google it...

Basically the biggest problem will be clicking the correct buttons once the installer starts. For the most part, the correct buttons will be very slightly shaded around the edges.

Then, once they are both installed into a folder. Run each of thier own patchers until they complete. Then the private server Updater after that. It seems like a lot, but I've had to do it several times (whether it be getting a new computer, or helping my moron friends do it).


Update: If you really, really must have it, I've zipped mine, so message me on MSN ifyou wan't me to send it to you (make take a few years to transfer, though).

Alright this might sound like im some guy on a quest for world peace, but...

the first amendment was created so you would be able to say "I don't like that" or whatever
so just deal with it and move on

 

He's trying to talk people out of playing it, people should be allowed to play for themselves and determine whether they hate it or not. I know atleast 6 people in my first hour class who hate star wars and they love the game. If you don't like it, fine, don't preach to others that it is "ungodly-shitty" let them decide.

you aksed how you could prove you've played, simply tell me what you did when you played... I can say I played everquest and it's shitty, but I have never played it....what did you do? who did you talk to? did you ever even start up the game?

 

I played Galaxies for 4 months and can gladly say it sucked and was a waste of my money.

Nate is simply voicing his OPINION about the game you are talking about. At no point has he ever tried to influence peoples opinions on whether to play it or not. It's only a game. Many people have many different opinions and it just so happens that you and Nate disagree on this one thing. Now please, stop antagonising members of staff

 

I consider it indirectly convincing people not to play when you tell the person to not bring up the game because it is ungodly shitty...that would give me the hint of "don't play" had I not already played it.

I know these really aren't RPGs but they're online, free and fun to play...

Some good ones are the adventure ones like on ebaumsworld called 'Trapped In A Room' or something like that. Little interactive flash things where you need to solve puzzles to move on. Very addicting and challenging.

 

I was looking for some rpg's myself the other day. I found a couple things that seemed interesting but I haven't really tried any of them yet.. so I suggest you just give em a shot, maybe you'll like it you never know. I don't know which one's are free and which aren't though so.. try to look it up on the site I guess first.


Two kingdoms - Don't really know much about this one..

Exile - This is the only one I actually did play so far. It's definently free, and it's really really fun. Not to mention extremely easy to register, there's no stupid confirmation email needed so you get to start playing right away.

Spy Academy - This game looks damn awsome if you ask me.. I haven't tried it yet but it looks challenging.

Banja - This looks interesting to me as well.. The description said you can play with online players and interact with other people and go to different towns and stuff. Haven't tried that one yet either though so i'm not sure if it's free or not..
