To me, its all of the same. The only standout feature of the song is a unique chord progression in the verse/chorus that is rarely used in mainstream music, so I give them credit from that, I liked it. The sampled strings in the intro and the effects in the bridge were pretty cool too. But the musicianship is beginner level, and its annoying to have the drummer slap the side of his snare like that in the verse. Joel's lyrics are pretty lame, and predictable (pun intended). The bridge lasts about 5 seconds and had the potential to expand better musically or perhaps have a solo (omg), but didn't. Its commercial music, all of the same.
