Then the population will decrease, all our problems will be solved and we can all live happily ever after... But seriously from reading this thread i realised that the LPA is pretty smart *thumbs up*
Okay so 50,000 people or so or more die, the people closer to the inland mainland survive. DOES GLOBAL WARMING CONTINUE TO BE AN ISSUE THEN? I mean, after ice caps. then? Stop cutting trees?
I think you're gonna have to go back to nature then. Take off those clothes, make some fire with 2 stones and live between the animals. But seriously, I wouldn't mind that, in fact, I'd like everyone to do that.
I prefer being cool lol, like 10C or less is nice for me and I would still have my fan on and my window fully open, I hate the heat. lol
That coming from a Ron Paul supporter... I was joking, anyway. I could probably type quite a bit on what I think of anarchism but I won't here.
Hm. Oh That slipped my mind. Anyway: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-tom-skilling-explainer-13aug13,0,918946.story Hm.
It's not like it means much when in other parts of the world the temperature has been at record highs. From personal experience I'd say the weather's been really erratic over the past couple of years anyway, if anything.
What's to say that, if the article said it had been warmer in whichever part of the US, you'd be saying what I was in my previous post?
If you don't want to call it global warming, then don't. Call it whatever you want. Our effects have consequences, and unless we wisen up, we will see them in all sorts of ways, besides a few degrees shift in temperature. The earth is an amazing biochemist, much like our bodies. It takes in whatever we give it, and expels the toxins. However, just like a human being, it ages, and will eventually clog up. And there's no immediate open-heart surgery fix for this one.

No kidding. Aside from a week-long heat wave of 90's & 100's in June, it hasn't been that hot out this summer. In fact, around here during this time of year it's still usually pretty stinkin' hot, and all we've been getting is rain and dipping down into the 50's at night.
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/corporate/pressoffice/2006/pr20061016.html Hmm. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/corporate/pressoffice/2006/pr20061201.html Hmm. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2006/oct/15/meteorology.uknews1 Hmm. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2007/jun/19/climatechange.climatechange Hmm. Hardly consistent is it? Just last year and the year before it was going the other way in parts of the world. Like I said if anything the climate is getting more extreme and erratic. Trying to argue for warming or cooling is a moot point.
