Online games are incredibly addictive.....they are fun but they also can become an obligation. My friend and I both play FFXI. My friend started before me so hes a way higher level then me. At first I felt like I had to be on all the time to catch up with him so we could party. So if you have the mind set of that being important...yeah...it becomes an addiction. But if you just treat it like any other game, its not bad....I go to an incredibly hard art college where you have tons of homework. I realized....I could either put the game before my work and be a complete loser, or I put my work first and just play the game for fun. But people shouldnt really judge others who play MMORPG, I thought it was completely stupid too until I got in to it.

Yea i agree, the only time I am 'addicted' is when i get a new game a I play it non stop until the end, but other than that if i play a video game its for only a few hours, I play video games alot and i do it causes its too fun. But i can see how some people take it over the limit. Meh, just the way some people are I guess.
